The 478
or the heart of GA as it has come to be known is the
southern city of Macon. Once you get outside the ATL,
it is a much different culture in Georgia and this city is
clearly representative of that. The Macon t-shirts
declare fame and affection for the women above. The
city lies outside the Atlanta metropolitan area as it is a
long eighty miles from one to the other. A number of
famous country and rock singers are from Macon, making these
t-shirts that much more appropriate. Jason Aldean and
The Allman Brothers Band are from here, as are Otis Redding,
Kevin Brown, Little Richard, and Russell Branyon.
Visitors to Macon will check out the Harriet Tubman African
American Museum, the Rose Hill Cemetery, and the Ocmulgee
National Monument. |
