Once
the capital of the state of Tennesee, the city of
Murfreesboro is a suburb of the country music mecca of
Nashville. This city is slowly starting to create a
culture apart from Nashville as it has quickly grown to
nearly 90,000 residents. The Murfreesboro t-shirts
could theoretically be mistaken for two other tiny,
miniscule towns. Arkansas and North Carolina both have
towns with matching names, but those have no more than 2,000
people. The Tennessee rendering is seen in the
Murfreesboro t-shirts. Even though the 'TN' is not
present, it'd be hard to make the mistake. Middle
Tennessee State University, with 22,800 kids is right in the
heart of Murfreesboro. It's the largest public college
in the state. |
