Canyon
County in western Idaho is the setting for the serene city
of Nampa. Ranked second in population after Boise,
this town has been able to transform itself from a railroad
village into a sugar industry leader. These Nampa
t-shirts express a patriotic feel. Unfortunately, the
city emits an odor on some days from the sugar beet
processing plant. The plant reduced their emissions in
2006 which has minimized the odor, but you can still smell
it in the northern part of town. Despite this, these
Nampa shirts and the town itself are quite popular.
With over one hundred thousand in the Nampa, Idaho area,
there is the feel of a big city. |
