A
suburb of the cities of Dallas and Fort Worth, the northern
city of Plano, Texas has been able to achieve its own
identity. The population is now over 250,000, making
it the seventh biggest in the state. These Plano
t-shirts further lend credence to being their own community
and not a suburb to anyone. Troy Aikman, Lance
Armstrong, and H. Ross Perot all live here. They'll
need many of these Plano t-shirts to boost the growing
reputation of the land. Despite being the seventeenth
largest city in the United States, Plano, Texas does not
have any major sports teams. Their proximity to Dallas
makes it difficult to warrant another franchise in the area.
However, they do not have to force their taxpayers to
subsidize any teams. |
