Pictured are
two Plymouth, MA t-shirts from our historical towns of New England
grouping. Separatists from the British government, Pilgrims,
landed in Plymouth in 1620 and started a colony. The Plymouth
t-shirt show the rock they landed on.
America's hometown and the landing spot of the Mayflower
ship in 1620 by English settlers was Plymouth. The
Massachusetts town was where the Pilgrims (formerly called
Separatists) set up their home after escaping the tyrannical
rule of the British empire. The Plymouth t-shirts have
a special significance to Plymouth Rock, the traditional
marking point where William Bradford and the other Pilgrims
went ashore. It is described by many as the most
disappointing landmark ever seen. However, these
Plymouth t-shirts are not disappointing at all as they pay
tribute to the rock. Today, the town of Plymouth is
far different than it was back in 1620. The town has a
number of golf courses, beaches, and camping spots.
