Unlike
the Massachusetts version with the Basketball Hall of Fame
or the Illinois edition that is the home of Abraham Lincoln,
this Springfield is in the heart of American in the show me
state of Missouri. It is located in the southern part
of the state and only St. Louis and Kansas City are bigger.
The Springfield t-shirts will not be mistaken for those
other two cities as the 'MO' designation is written clearly
across the chest. Some extraordinary people have lived
here as well, including but not limited to Don Johnson, Ryan
Howard, Bill Mueller, Brad Pitt, Kathleen Turner, and John
Goodman. The stars definitely come out in Springfield,
Missouri, which is all the more reason to wear these
t-shirts all over the country. The origin of the
town's name is uncertain but it is believe to come from the
western Massachusetts city. |
