The
capital of the Sunshine State of Florida located in the
northern section of the state is Tallahassee. Situated
in the panhandle, it is also home to Florida State
University, an enormous college with 31,000 undergraduate
students and an additional 8,000 graduate students.
These Tallahassee t-shirts can be seen around campus and
outside the school. There are 150,000 residents in the
state capital so even though FSU is the dominant figure,
there is much more to the town. The Tallahassee
t-shirts are proof of that, as they proclaim the girls to be
the best. Florida A&M University is also a major part
of Tallahassee. Despite being dwarfed by FSU, the
agricultural and mechanical college enrolls over 12,000
kids. Their sports teams are not yet on the same
level, but they are gaining ground. |
