Charles
M. Schulz was the original creator and illustrator of the
Peanuts comic strip. The main characters were Charlie
Brown, Snoopy, Linus van Pelt, Peppermint Patty, Schroeder,
and Lucy van Pelt. The Peanuts t-shirts focus on the
definition of happiness with Linus. The first strip
was created in 1950 and the last to run was in the year
2000, when Charles M. Schulz passed away. The saying
at the bottom of the Peanuts t-shirts describe how to
achieve happiness in a comical manner. Two of the most
successful television programs the comic strip spawned were
the Charlie Brown Christmas and the "It's a Great Pumpkin,
Charlie Brown." Both of those are broadcast
every holiday season in the United States. |
